Slitting on inspecting and slitting / rewinding machines
Inspecting machines are usually running for very short periods, stopping each time a product defect is detected. For this reason, hot cutting on inspecting machines is not appropriate, this technology generating a product burn for each stop-and-go of the machine. The ultrasonic technology is very easy to control and products no heat. Ultrasonic cutting is indeed widely used on inspecting machines for edges or central cutting of valuable products. Decoup+ offers a wide range of ultrasonic systems adaptable on any existing inspecting or slitting / rewinding machines, able to cut and seal any type of synthetic fabric (textiles or nonwovens).
